Sonoran Desert Mountain Bicyclists President Dave Barger is all smiles as he helps out on the first day of the new season.	The trail takes shape as it begins to move south and east of a riparian area in Colossal Cave Mountain Park.	Their work for the day done, a hungry crew feasts on gourmet lunches from Beyond Bread.

Richard Humprey, who has logged hundreds of hours volunteering on the trail, does some finish work on a tough bench cut.	Volunteers put a bench in as the trail goes in and out of a wash.	Brian McNeeley puts a finishing touch on a section of trail.

Will is headed to Europe, and will return to help finish the last five miles in January.
